Organisation: Lubbesthorpe Alive (CIC)
Location: The Community Hub, New Lubbesthorpe (with hybrid/remote flexibility)
Hours: Part-time / 12 hours per week (Core hours: Tuesday 9am to 1pm, Wednesday 9am to 1pm)
Working Pattern: Highly flexible across 7 days (Requires dynamic availability for weekend, evening, or school holiday event delivery as dictated by the events calendar)
Salary: £14.78 per hour
Reports to: Pioneer Community Worker / Board of Directors

Lubbesthorpe Alive is looking for an Events Coordinator to breathe life into our regular groups, seasonal celebrations, and flagship festivals!
If you want a role where you can pick up your 12 hours flexibly across the week—jumping in on weekends, evenings, or school holidays when our community needs it most—this is for you.
🎪 Bringing the Fun: Leading the planning and delivery of major seasonal highlights (eg Christmas, Easter, Diwali, Halloween) and our massive summer highlight, LubbFest!
☕ Supporting Core Groups: Hosting and organising key neighbourhood spaces like our Market Café, Hub Nights, and community events
🎈 Holiday Fun: Coordinating engaging activities for children and families during school breaks.
🤝 Empowering Volunteers: Organising and scheduling our brilliant local volunteers using Monday.com.
📱 Spreading the Word: Making sure everyone knows what’s on via WhatsApp, social media, posters, and flyers.
You have a background in event planning, group coordination, or community work.
You love being organised and are comfortable using digital tools like Monday.com and social media.
You want true flexibility—the ability to balance 12 hours across 7 days to suit live community events.
You are a welcoming "people person" who thrives on creating safe, joyful spaces for all ages.
