We're working hard to create a thriving community in Leicestershire’s newest and fastest growing town - and looking for companies to team up with.
At Lubbesthorpe Alive, we aim to bring residents together, build connections and help those needing vital support.
As a community interest group, we're looking for businesses who want to make a difference to get on board and become sponsors, helping our vital work.
It costs around £60,000 a year to run Lubbesthorpe Alive with every penny raised going back into supporting the community.
Sue Steer, Lubbesthorpe Alive’s Pioneer Community Worker, said: “We care about people and want to partner with organisations that want to spark positive change.
“What we do makes a big difference. Just last year, we ran hundreds of bustling community groups and events, delivered over 100 welcome bags to new residents and provided dedicated, holistic wellbeing and one-to-one support.”
By 2035, New Lubbesthorpe is due to have 4,250 homes and is expanding with over 1,200 homes already occupied. A new GP surgery and local supermarket opened their doors over the summer and a care home is set to open in the autumn.
Sue added: “Building happy, strong and vibrant communities is an essential ingredient in building a new place to live. We have a wide range of sponsorship packages, including supporting our innovative wellbeing champions network or renewable energy improvement project for our hub.
“It’s a great opportunity for businesses to kickstart new life-changing initiatives and boost their profile at the same time. We’d love to talk to companies who share our goals.”
