Summer Club @ the Hub

Ready to make the most of your summer holidays? Then why not book one of our summer holiday sessions and join us at the Hub. Whether you prefer family-oriented sessions or unaccompanied kids' sessions, we have something special for everyone.

In order to run our sessions we do need adult volunteers to help out. If this is something you would be interested in helping with please contact us on lubbesthorpealive@gmail.com There is a discounted rate for children/grandchildren of those volunteering.

Family-Oriented Sessions

Monday Drop In

Dates: 28th July, 4th August, and 11th August
Details: Whether you're a parent with a pre-walking baby or just fancy a relaxed chat, come along to The Hub for our Monday Drop-In. Enjoy a cuppa, meet new people, and find out what’s happening in Lubbesthorpe and at The Hub. There’ll be a cosy baby area with toys available for pre-walkers, but everyone is welcome – with or without little ones.

Cost: Donate what you feel you can

Wednesday Family Sessions

Dates: 30th July, 6th August, and 13th August
Time: 10 AM - 11:30 AM
Details: Join us for games and crafts both indoors and outdoors, suitable for families of all ages.
Booking: No booking required
Cost: £2.50 per child, £4 for 2 children

Thursday Under 5's

Dates: 31st July, 7th August, and 14th August
Time: 10 AM - 11:30 AM
Details: Kettle on, toaster warming - a chance to have a catch up with other parents/carers whilst the children can have a play. There is a different craft to do each week and a big sing song at the end of each session!
Booking: No booking required
Cost: £2.50 per child, £4 for 2 children

Unaccompanied Kids Only Sessions

🌞 Summer Hub Club – Tuesdays

Looking for something fun for the kids this summer? Our Summer Hub Club is back – filled with engaging activities and plenty of opportunities to make new friends!

📅 Dates: Tuesdays – 29th July, 5th August, and 12th August

🧒 Morning Session – Primary School Ages

🕘 Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Drop off the kids for a fun-packed morning! Each week features a different theme, with activities designed just for primary-aged children.
🍎 Snack included
💷 £4.50 per child

👦 Afternoon Session – Ages 10+ Youth Group

🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
A relaxed and social space for older children to hang out and take part in activities.
💷 Free 🍬 Tuck shop available – bring some money if you'd like to buy snacks and drinks.
